ACK – Protocol Snapshot (Draft)
Status: This is a placeholder document for testing tags and layouts in The Registry. It is not an official or complete description of any ACK specification.
In our current meta description, ACK is referenced as one of the protocols The Registry intends to observe and catalog as the agentic commerce ecosystem matures.
Right now, The Registry is not the author of any ACK standard, nor are we claiming that ACK has a single, finalized definition. Instead, we are reserving this space for a future-neutral overview once there is:
- A clearly published specification or family of specs using the ACK name, and/or
- Active, public implementations that need to be compared and understood.
When that happens, this page will be updated to provide:
- A concise, vendor-neutral snapshot of what ACK covers
- Links to original specifications and reference implementations
- Notes on compatibility, versioning, and adoption
- Pointers to ACRI™ readiness criteria that depend on ACK-like capabilities
Until then, consider this page a tagging and structure test for the standards-and-protocols pillar.
If you maintain or contribute to an ACK-related protocol and want to help us describe it correctly, please email info@agenticcommerce.com.
